At only 3 years of age, Grace has mastered the Hula Hoop. Watch the video. It’s amazing.
Today was Grace’s 3rd Birthday Party. We hired a Cinderella from Rachael’s Fun House. She painted faces, performed a puppet show, and did some disco dancing. After the show, the kids enjoyed some hot dogs, mac and cheese, and chicken nuggets topped off with some cake and ice cream. Grace dressed up as Belle and was the Princess of the Ball.
In a previous post, I had a still of Jean and Mel Gibson from the movie What Women Want. I finally got some software to rip the video from the DVD so I thought I’d post this for old times sakes.
Before heading off to school this morning, Grace performed some ballet for Grandma and Grandpa in her Halloween costume. Yes, this is Year 3 as a Ladybug (or Ladybird as you Brits call them), but this is a one day costume for her party at school. The REAL costume makes its debut at her 3rd Birthday Party tommorrow.
A couple of weeks ago, Jean’s friends threw her a surprise baby shower at The Verandah in Repulse Bay. Check out the video put together by the Aitkens.
Last night was the celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival. We headed down to Repulse Bay Beach and Grace and her friends were able to run around with their lanterns and glow sticks while the Dads hung out and drank beer. A good time was had by all.
