My Dad came over to Hong Kong for Thanksgiving. I think he’ll take away some memories of good food, a nice porch, lot’s of stairs, hockey watching, a crazy bus ride to the China border, and a nice Thanksgiving dinner thanks to my good mate over at Le Petite Mort. Today was my first Field Hockey match. We lost 4-1. The field we play at is in the infield of the Happey Valley Racecourse with the city surrounding you. Pretty cool.
At our grocery store yesterday, they had these small shopping carts for kids with a sign that said “Shopper in Training”. Actually, these carts are awesome because the aisles at the grocery store are so narrow these help you make it through without constantly ramming into someone.

Jean made a cake (and decorated it too!) for Grace’s birthday and they took it to school on Tuesday. Here’s Grace and all the kids getting ready to chow down. That’s her teacher Miss Beverly pulling the candle off of the cake.
