We made it to the Ladies Market in Mong Kok tonight. It is a very crowded place, but it didn’t rain as much as Saturday. We got some good deals because Jean was the Queen of negotiation at these shops. “You are asking 150 HKD… How about I let you sell it to me for 25 HKD?”

Call me a dork but I just thought this was a funny picture. With the Hong Kong Disneyland opening in just a few weeks, Mickey went around town and saw the sites. Here’s Mickey doing some Tai Chi on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong.

Today we went to Mong Kok to the Ladies Market to do some shopping. I took this picture because I thought it was a cool picture of all the signs. After downloading this picture and looking at it, I noticed the sign in front was for a hotel with a special for 78 HKD (10 USD) for two hours. Why would anyone rent a hotel room for two hours? Anyway, shopping was a bust because there was a big rainstorm and a Signal 1 Typhoon warning.

After an exciting 8 minutes at Snoopy World we went for a bite to eat for some authentic Chinese cuisine at Dan Ryan’s in Kowloon Tong.

Here’s Grace hanging with Charlie Brown at Sha Tin Plaza. We were reading a book on places to take your kid in Hong Kong and one mentioned Snoopy World. After about an hour and 3 trains later… this was about the most exciting thing there.
