intermission

If i could perpetually neglect the past
i would be but an instant.
The morrow bombarding constantly
with no time for reflection.
Would it be Life? or just the
never ending torment of only
facing tommorrow and never a
yesterday.
Joy, I could not comprehend.
For it is what I was joyous for.
Fear, I could fear no more.
Sorrow, I could weep no more.
Am I happy or in misery?
Should I be no more?
I would never know.

Here’s a painting I did on a mirror in the lobby of a movie theater I used to work at. We were showing Pink Floyd’s The Wall for a Midnight Movie. I’m finally taking a painting class starting in June.

Here’s a picture of our daughter at 11 weeks. Pretty cool, huh.
