Before we left Hong Kong, we always wanted to stay the night at the Hong Kong Disneyland. So before we left for Singapore, we packed up and headed out to Lantau Island. It got off to a great start. They upgraded our room to a suite for free. We then had dinner with the characters, watched the nightly fireworks and then one of the Castmembers read the girls a bedtime story. We woke up the next day and headed off to the park. It was not crowded at all and we hit the new Small World ride and there was no line at all! Beautiful. After a great day at the park, we packed up and caught the subway home. A real good time. Highly recommend it if you have little ones.
Last night, we took a Junk out to Lamma Island for our last hurrah before leaving for Singapore on Tuesday. Check out the pics…
Here is me and Jean enjoying a beautiful start of the evening. That’s our apartment block behind us off to the right.

Here is Fiona and Matt. Matt was good enough to get his bosses Junk out for us that night.

I had the honor of getting to eat the Fish Eye. Tasty…

Here is me and Stam lounging as we were coming back to the Pier.

I went to Grace and Riley’s school for Father’s Day this year. After sitting for a half an hour in those tiny chairs, I could barely get up. The teacher said to me later, “Ben, I know you have a bad back so let me help you with that”. I don’t have a BAD BACK! I’m just not used to sitting in miniature chairs and on the floor for extended periods of time.
After 3 years in Hong Kong, The Sawin Family finally made it up to the Big Buddha. My nephew and I went a while ago, but this time it was the whole family. We braved the cable car and didn’t die… which was nice. Since I last went, it is now much more commercialized with Ngong Ping Village. They even had a Starbucks. Crazy.
My sister googled herself and found old pictures back in the karate days. So I did the same and found these gems. The picture on the bottom is me doing a blowgun demonstration. Too funny.
The girls have been doing many new things as of late. Riley tried painting with some assistance from Big Sister. Riley headed off to school and Grace had her first dance exam.

Picasso in the making.

Well, not really. Nice optical illusion shot from Billy. I tried that shot before but it didn’t work for me.
